Bought motorm4x on STEAM.
running windows 7, the game opens a window but its black and unresponsive. The drive is spinning as if loading for a bit, but a few seconds later windows tells me motorm4x has stopped responding yadda yadda.
Anyone got any idea on what needs to be done? Steam says its an easyco problem, not them. Would try deleting the video files as has been suggested, but steam hides the program. No one has mentioned a problem on steam support.
Using an Asus G73jh a2.
Windows 7 home premium
Core i7-720QM
GB ddr3
ATi Mobility Radeon HD 5870 GDDR5 1024MB |

Seems I have the exact same problem I installed everything seemed to install properly. Tried to start the game and a window opens however it just black. after waiting for a few seconds the window then says not responding. I then downloaded the demo and tired that... same problem. Reinstalled full version.. still no change. It would seem as though the game is not really compatible with windows 7 or latest gfx cards.
My rig
P5NT deluxe mobo
q6600 go processor
4gbDDr2 dominator ram
nvidia GTX470 Fermi
All drivers are up to date.
All other games are running fine. |

why dont you try running the game using the compatibility under vista or xp.

| I have also tried that too. still no go. did a reinstall now as well still nothing. its a real shame as this game looks fun on you tube.. waste of 20 dollars for me i guess. |

dont give up bro, have check your video card settings? is the software upto date?
what version of direct x do you have?
this game is really worth trouble. |

| Ye it seems like ti is a lot of fun. at the moment I have dx11 and all drivers for my gtx 470 are as new as they come. I dug out an old xp p4 system to see if it works on there and it did. weird. Although it only has a geforce6600 so it basically unplayable. never the less it still loaded up. seems like its a windows 7 issue or 64bit issue then. and also tried all the compatibility modes still nothing. |

| i have this same probolem. I bought mine on steam and i have more than enough to run this, but i can play 5 minutes and it just crashes. Is there like a patch or someting |
