Well, overall I rate the game better then 4x4 Evo 2 in some areas but not all. Here are my ideas I am presenting.

Vehicles:

1. Hummer or Humvee look alike, please don't make the H3, only H2 and H1 I really hate the H3 they are ugly as heck.

2. Ford, Dodge, Chevy, Toyota, Nissan, Mitsubishi, and Jeep and w/e else I may be missing you guys can add them, make a generic copy of them Razz, maybe add in a future expansion pack sell it if you want to make money off them.

Graphics/Effects

3. Particles effect, make more particles I seen you have it but it isn't alot.

4. The lightning of vehicles isn't showing up to much light maybe increase the luminance a bit, and also make the night a little more darker or an option to change it Very Happy.

Other/Misc

5. More Locations to travel to and bigger maps, maybe use a black and white elevation map to use for this game.

6. Multiplayer, a must have for this game, Multiplayer with game modes, king of the hill, races, free roam(With fun stuff to do around area), Tug of War, Mudding(first who crosses the mud swamp without stalling wins), be creative.

7. Animals and life around area, like walking people, cows, horses, pigs, snakes, birds, mountain lions and etc, be tons of fun looking at them and stuff.

8. Ability to create your own ride like a dune buggy, like welding, knowledge, money for the parts, create your own ride Razz that be really sweet.

9. Have some files exposed the files that we allowed us the community we can modify to add our own vehicles, maps, and tweaks. Leave the stuff we aren't allowed to modify in protected state, as I know the license for that stuff is not cheap.

I think that is all for that I have for suggestions, hope you like them and hope some will be possible to do in the official release. Kind of sucks that they don't sell them in USA, had to buy it at some Foreign Country site.

Duly noted Smile Thanks for your comments. But I'm afraid there's not
going to be any stuff released either for this game or as a
sequel. This project is dead. Sorry.

Alright, any possible way we could get the source maybe in the future for this game? a editable one that we can edit and not violate any license that you guys have, or get you guys in trouble? Maybe the outsiders could take over this project or a bigger video game developer could use the source maybe use it for a off-road game in the future Very Happy. This game is pretty close to what I wanted but I hope someone does come out with a 4x4 Offroad Simulator which everything I want in it, like huge maps, online play, free roam, houses in online, like basically base it in real life form. Maybe similiar to Test Drive Unlimited but better, and at better locations that have off road places, like back in the woods and etc. Nobody is willing to take games that far these days.

There is plenty of people willing, but nobody wants to pay for it. We would
gladly do the sequel, but we also have to feed our families, so - work for
free? Not anymore. Releasing the source in the future is also out of the
question, because the game isn't entirely ours. So we would violate a
dozen of rights if we did that. Sorry. They are making some pretty deep
games today, but offroading isn't one of them. It is maybe because
it is really not that popular or - the guys who are deciding which game
to make walk in the circles not realizing that someone might actually
like such game. One thing I'm sure about - if someone decides to create
an offroad game as you described it, they would be better off starting
from a scratch, probably using more suitable technology for such a large
scale project.

Yea, I know they ain't to popular at the moment, it was little popular when 4x4 Evo 2 was out and was online that made it a little interesting, I think it had around 1,000 players or so at the time but I wasn't on it at the time to really prove it but the old players like KC from vales.com played it at the time when it was first out they would know more about the game history. 4x4 Evo 2 is a great game, if someone that had the technology to take over that project maybe make it better like improving the graphics doesn't have to be fancy like HDR and etc unless they really want to add it that be nice, I mainly only look bloom, and car reflections. It would need more vehicles and add updated vehicles as well, maybe throw some new parts in it. I am sort of part of a team but not really but they are trying to make Evo 3 which is Revo 3.

I tried to make some tracks but end up failing on the project told them that I couldn't do it. But everyday they been getting more and more people joining in the project to help out. Their link is http://evo3beta.forumup.com. Maybe someone might be interested to help and has the skills for it they can help out, its a great game to work on and they have the source for the game i was surprised that they released it to them. Thanks for your answer Edman, such a shame to hear that they couldn't make a second sequel. Have a good day, I probably stop by here a few times to check out your new games and stuff I'm more into Racing then anything lol, I love simulation.
